Ingredients

600 g chicken liver
2 large apples
2 onions
60 ml of white dry wine
salt and pepper to taste
2 carnation buds
½ hr. of dry proven herbs
vegetable oil
Fried chicken liver with apples and onions is perfect for a delicious homemade lunch or dinner.

Instructions

1. Cut the onion into half rings, divide the liver into pieces.
2. Heat the frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the liver until golden brown on high heat, put in a plate.
3. Cut the apples into slices and fry in the same pan for 5 minutes on high heat, also put in a plate.
4. Then fry the onions to a rosy color.
5. Return the liver and apples to the pan, pour in the wine, salt and pepper, add the cloves and herbs, simmer for 5-10 minutes on low heat.

For this recipe, choose ripe apples of sour-sweet varieties. In addition to dry Provencal herbs, you can add different spices to your liking.
