Chicken in chocolate? It's nothing more than a joke! That's exactly what we thought when we came across the original recipe! But they cook pork in a sweet sauce, and duck is baked in honey! Dare! And you won't regret it: the combination is very harmonious.

Instructions

1. Wash the chicken, pat dry, and cut into 8 portions. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes and peel them. Cut each into quarters, remove the core, and dice the flesh. Grind the almonds into flour. Wash, seed, and finely chop the peppers. Grate the chocolate coarsely.
2. Mix the tomatoes with the almonds and flour. Add the coriander and salt and stir.
3. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the chicken on all sides for 6 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a platter. Add the onion, garlic, and hot pepper to the saucepan and fry for 2 minutes.
4. Return the chicken to the saucepan, add the broth, and simmer for 25 minutes.
5. Remove the chicken from the saucepan and set aside in a warm place. Add the tomatoes and spices to the saucepan, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add the chocolate and whisk the sauce. Place the chicken pieces on a serving platter and pour the sauce over them.
